Jamie has just finished my conversion and I am over the moon with it! He has done it so nicely, to my design, and it is even better than I hoped it would be. Nothing was too much trouble and he was great at communicating, always patient, helpful and quick to reassure me when I was worried about something. I am so glad he was able to do my conversion and I feel very fortunate as I know how busy he is. He is a brilliant craftsman and the finish is of a high standard, with amazing attention to detail. I can’t wait to try out my campervan and am really pleased to have it for the summer. Everyone I have shown the photos to are impressed and ask who did the conversion. If you would like a class bespoke conversion completed by someone kind and experienced then I can highly recommend Jamie and The Camper Way. You won’t be disappointed!

Having first encoutered Jamie and The Camper Way after enquiring about a ready-converted van he was selling, I found him so easy to communicate with that I decided to ask him to help me create a bespoke campervan. I had a vague idea of layout but he wasn't even slightly fazed and was good humoured throughout the entire build process, offering his experience whenever I was unsure where I was going with something. In fact, once I had delivered my van to him, he managed to create the most extraordinary conversion by continuing to intrepret my vague ideas by WhatsApp and email.

The next time we saw each other in person was when I collected the van on completion, months later. He then spent *hours* patiently describing the set up to me and I am delighted with the finished product so far. It is early days into my new relationship with the van so time will tell whether I regret any of the decisions made (that were not really made, which Jamie helped guide me on) but what I do know is that if you want a skilled craftsman who is absolutely easy to chat with and who will never, ever mansplain or patronise you, then Jamie is your person.

I have learnt a lot from him and feel confident that I can send him random WhatsApp messages and emails asking about things and return to him for future work. And you can't get much better than that!

I would certainly recommend the Camper Way for any van conversions. Jamie was incredibly helpful throughout the build offering great advice on our ideas and giving the time to explain what is possible in the space we had. The end finish was very high quality and will be going back to them If I want to make any changes in the future!

Absolutely in love with my High Top Transporter. I wanted to build it myself, but just didn't have the time or resource. I'm so glad I didn't! The attention to detail is incredible and it has made it so easy to live in - they have thought of things I never would have. Jamie was an absolute pleasure and so patient with all my questions (there were a lot!). I cannot recommend The Camper Way enough.

Hi ……… we bought the grey & white Transporter High-Top a couple of weeks ago. It followed viewing it a couple of weeks prior to that. From viewing it to buying it we had plenty of Q’s for Jamie, who patiently spend good time answering them which was so helpful. Good man. He’s relaxed, not pushy, reliable and an all round decent bloke.

What is obvious to see about his conversion work is the attention to detail in layout, finish quality, facility and build quality. For those of us who love the bespoke and not the generic, well I don’t think you’ll find anything to disappoint. We caught the train to Weymouth to collect and was gratefully picked up at the station courtesy of The Camper Way. Our van’s water tank was kindly filled up as we were taking a 4 day south-coast drive back to Kent and so we couldn’t have asked for more help. Our own camper van has been a bit of a dreamy thing for us and we searched for a couple of years for the right one. Love the high-top and they’re few & far between. Had a great 4 days getting to know the van and so we’re now set off a treat on our new adventures. Jamie (and Connor) thanks very much indeed. You’ll be recommended well by us. By the way ……. we’ve called him Gandalf!!

I am stunned with the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Jamie and the team from The Camper Way did to my LWB sprinter van. I have now been out in the van for nearly two weeks and it is still performing as intended. Thanks guys for all the time and effort to build my van .
